An extensive Legal background
Paul has broad, relevant legal experience. He was a Wisconsin Employment Relations Commissioner for more than seven years, deciding and administrating State Labor and Civil Service law as well as being an active grievance arbitrator. He also mediated numerous cases to settlement. He is a former City Attorney and has a wide range of experience in private practice involving contested matters in the court system and administrative agencies.

Paul holds a Law Degree from Drake University, Des Moines IA. He earned his BA Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is admitted to the State Bars of Wisconsin, Iowa and North Carolina.

Related Activities
Paul has extensive volunteer experience in Workforce Development. For over 20 years he held a Board leadership position on a nine County Workforce Development Board in Wisconsin, implementing Federal, State and Local workforce initiatives. He helped people get good jobs and Companies get good employees.

He has been active in Health Care, and is an Emeritus Member of the Board of Governors for a charitable children's hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He was Secretary for the Board of Directors of a local Health Insurance Cooperative. His private law practice included many cases representing indviduals involving worker's compensation, social security disability and personal injury.

He supports education and has been elected to the Board of Education for his children's Public School District. Other community activities include the Indian Waters Girl Scout
Council, YMCA, Senior Center,
Area Food Bank, and Family Support Center countering domestic abuse.
